MuscleMap ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we comply with Apple’s App Store privacy requirements and relevant privacy laws.

What We Collect

When you place a presale order or create an account via our web platform, we collect:

• Your email address
• Payment information (processed securely via Stripe through Shoprocket — we never store your card details)

When using the MuscleMap iOS app (connected to your MuscleMap device), we collect:

• Fitness data (muscle tension measurements, displacement, session history)
• Session metadata (timestamp, body location, device ID)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for purposes necessary to provide our service:

• To authenticate your account and sync your session data
• To display your session history, body heatmaps, and analytics within the app
• To send order confirmations and important product updates (not marketing spam)

Data Linked to You

The following data is linked to your identity (email + account):

• Name and Email Address
• Fitness session data recorded via the MuscleMap device

None of this data is shared with third-party advertisers, data brokers, or used for tracking.

What We Don’t Do

• No third-party advertising or marketing SDKs
• No use of your data for behavioral targeting or ad measurement
• No access to your contacts, photos, camera, or precise location
• No in-app purchases or external payment links within the app

Third-Party Services

We use the following services to deliver our product:

• Stripe – for secure payment processing
• Shoprocket – for checkout and order management

These services handle customer data under their own privacy policies and security practices.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service or comply with legal obligations. Session data is tied to your account and encrypted in transit.

Account Deletion & Data Requests

You can request deletion of your data or account at any time by contacting us. We will process your request within 5 business days.

At this time, MuscleMap is available only in the United States. All data is stored in U.S.-based servers.
